yoga nidra, guided meditation to yogic sleep:

It's been a long time since Yoga Nidra, it's a wonderful way to tap into meditation:)
Yoga nidra do not require you to sit up, you'll be on laying down on your back in savasana.

Although my way of teaching Yoga Nidra is not as traditional as you might have experience but this the way i was taught by my father and much later through Charu, who visited us 2 years ago.

Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep. It is a state of conscious Deep Sleep. In Meditation, you remain in the Waking state of consciousness, and gently focus the mind, while allowing thought patterns, emotions, sensations, and images to arise and go on. However, in Yoga Nidra, you leave the Waking state, go past the Dreaming state, and go to Deep Sleep, yet remain awake.

There's no right  or wrong in Nidra, worse comes to worse you'll fall asleep and that's it, can't be that bad??

what say you???
